Creative & UGC
Ad creative, founder videos and UGC that keep your ads from wearing out.
How do you turn customer reviews into video ads?
Find your most emotional reviews, lead with the heaviest line as the hook, and have the founder read it out on a phone with the review on screen behind them. Use a green screen effect, talk through what the customer said, and let an editor tidy it up. It takes about a minute, needs no script or location, and most brands already have 20 or more reviews that would work.
How many ad creatives do you need for Meta ads?
Probably about ten times what you're running now. If your ads are getting expensive or burning out fast, a better baseline is something like a hundred statics and ten new videos every week, built before you try to scale. On Meta the creative is also the targeting, so every new angle gives the platform a new group of people to find for you.
Questions on Creative & UGC
- How do I get natural video testimonials from customers who aren't comfortable on camera?
Don't ask them to perform a testimonial. Get them to do a product demo instead: mic them up, film them using the product where they normally would, and have someone ask questions like it's an ordinary chat.
- Should I reuse old ads that worked before?
Yes, but don't treat it as a substitute for new creative. Start seasonal campaigns from what worked last year, test old winners alongside what's running, and keep fresh content coming.
- Do I need to show my face in social media videos?
No. People don't care. They just want the value of the content.
