Question · Email & retention

How often should a small e-commerce brand send marketing emails?

Answered by ·

The short answer

At least one good email a week, and keep it consistent.

Email works as part of an ecosystem, and most merchants miss that. They treat it as a separate channel and judge it on its own. Your ads create interest, your content builds trust, and your emails convert people and bring them back. It’s the whole thing together that works.

That’s why skipping weeks costs you. Your ads have already paid to reach a lot of the people on your list. Go quiet and you break the rhythm, and you leave money on the table from people you’ve already paid for.

So one a week is the floor, every week.
